Metanoia

What began as an idea for a promotional series for our last feature film, A POISON TREE (which is just wrapping up post-production before going out onto the festival circuit), has evolved into its own feature film project as a spiritual successor. An extremely dark horror film in the A24 vein, this will be an incredibly intense and demanding project for everyone involved. Most especially the lead actress.

An aspiring musician desperate to make ends meet has turned to OnlyFans to pay her bills. She has a history of trauma, childhood sexual abuse, PTSD, and anxiety. As she interacts with an obsessive fan who may be something far more sinister and Lovecraftian than he seems, she begins to be tormented by strange happenings; things moving on their own, shadowy figures in the background of her videos, and a doppleganger. As her mind slowly unravels she begins to question the nature of time and reality itself, until it all explodes in a horrifying and bloody conclusion.
